Within last two weeks on alt.satellite.gps group, there is a small
discussion about "Solar Powerd GPS". Here is some quick recap on it.

Pierre, you seem to be in a very similar boat as the guy on bicycle. As long
as you have a mule to carry your stuffs, an extra 10 pound of gel battery
and a flexible solar panel would get you a long way. Those iSun is a bit
small and doesn't catch enough sunlight. Can't wait until someone make a
backpack with flexible solar panel ;-)
