I have released version 1.16 on the website and to sourceforge.
Changes:
Added #ifdefs to allow compilation by DJGPP. So far it compiles but does
not run. I think it is a problem with the ISR.
Setup use of PCI interface for Doug Baker's GPS1005 PCI board version. It
automatically checks for the PCI board, if not found it defaults to the ISA
interface. Modified the almanac read logic to check when a new almanac is
available.
We are working on getting a room to meet in after the sessions on Thursday
at GNSS 2004. If anyone would like to make a presentation on their project
we will ask that the projectors be available. Afterward we'll find
someplace to get a bite to eat and have a beer. I believe the Rock Bottom
is nearby, I'll check into it.
A new documentation page has been added to the website with links to pdf
files documenting OpenSourceGPS. It has many holes in it but it is a start.
Anyone who wants to contribute is most welcome. Probably the most pressing
need is to document the math and code of the tracking loops. If anyone has
ideas on how to change the loops to make this job easier please let me know.
The current loops are very simple and the coefficients were essentially set
by trial and error.
Best regards,
Cliff
