Assign them a different symbol - the ones coming from a map are usually
'waypoint', so I use 'building' or 'carpark' or 'church' or whatever for
ones I set in the field.
You could also give them a name starting with 'field', but you don't
have many characters left after that, and entering names is a PITA.
