2610 Problems with Waypoints and Routes

When I attempt to save some (11) routes the message comes back that the
route waypoint is full. I have deleted all the waypoints and all the routes
but the same message comes back. What is going on and how do I solve it?

I also get a message that the routes are not for the available maps. I have
twice downloaded the maps and checked that the routes cover the available
maps but I still get the same message.

Any help would be gratefully received
