I don't have mine handy to check, but I think the "set home" function
just creates a waypoint (er, "My Location") named "HOME" and it's the
existance of this that controlls whether it thinks it knows where home
is.
So deleting the "HOME" waypoint is, IIRC, the thing you need to do to
reset it.
For this reason I recommend using a new name other than "Home" for your
own manually created "real" home location ("MyHouse", "The Smiths" etc.).
