The only problem I see is it's removal. Once a child molester or kidnapper
learns of these devices in the backpack, they will make the child take it
off. A GPS doesn't help if it's not permanently positioned. I have always
advocated implanting small chips for children and making it volunteer for
adults. If such a devices were used, many children would be saved and many
of these kidnapped victims in Iraq could be found along with their captors.
Then we could kill the SOBs.
