Quest switches off when satellite reception lost in compas mode?

Hi all,

When using my quest in 'off road' mode, it has a habit of switching off when
on the 'compass' display if it looses satellite reception.

I can reproduce it by setting it to 'indoors' mode when I'm at my home
location and telling it to route to home in 'off-road' mode. When I press
the page key to change to the compass display the quest switches off.

It's fine if I use 'fastest time' or 'Shortest distance' but they're only
any use if you're on a road - no good on a bike trail . . .

I've just upgraded to software version 2.80 from garmin's web site, but this
doesn't seem to have helped.

Anyone else get the same problem / have a fix?
