Buick Rendevoux stops my 2610

I always take my 2610 on trips and Hertz gave me a Buick Rendevoux this
time. The 2610 could not lock on to enough satelites for more than 10
seconds. It actually did better sitting on the passengers seat looking out
the side window. It would work when I held it out the window but that was
difficult when it was raining. I have a Gillson external antenna which I
left home but will take next time.

Has anyone else run across this??

Frank
