Thank you everyone that responded. I'm not having any luck using a knife,
or a screwdriver. I don't want to force it, and scratch the GPS unit.
Thanks Diverhank for pointing out what the tool looks like. I was doing an
internet search using Garmin's words "Band pin removal tool." I was getting
hits on a tool that looks like it removes the links of a wrist band.
However, it now appears to me that the proper term for the tool is "Spring
Bar Tool."
Now that I know the correct wording, I am now finding some internet sites
that sell these "Spring Bar Tools", so I should be all set tomorrow.
Since I'm having such a hard time removing the pin, I wanted to find this
tool so I don't scratch the GPS.
