I am getting deployed in about 3 weeks to Iraq and have a question I know this
newsgroup can help me with.
My unit is in charge of providing escorts for military convoys and other
support operations. We will have 1 - 2 military GPS units.
I recently purchases a Magellan Sportrak Color because it was recommended to me
by someone over there and because I would like to have one in my vehicle just
in case.
1. What software should I buy that will enable me to upload good maps of Iraq
to my GPS?
2. From my research, I beleive Mapsend Worldwide Base Map would be my best
option. Am I right or wrong?
3. Is there another better map option that is compatible with my Magellan
Sporttrak?
I appreciate all responses.
