Not exactly. EGNOS is the European name for their SBAS,
a Space Based Augmentation System for Europe and North Africa.
Similarly, WAAS is the North American name for a
Space Based Augmentation System serving that region.
There is talk about possibly expanding WAAS coverage
southward, into Central and South America.
The Japanese plan to have MSAS, the Multifunction transportation
Satellite-based Augmentation System.
I don't know how far MSAS will extend outside Japan.
