As i`ve said previously, I was in Canada at the time, and wanted a sat-
nav to help me get around. I had no access to a laptop or PC as I was on
holiday. I went with the "premier" brand of GPS hardware, and feel i`ve
been stitched up a little by their policies.

I`m quite angry and disappointed on a number of levels with my unit, in
that you can`t buy european maps in europe, and to add the insult that
the 2610 has two licences rather than one, yet still costs $350 LESS.

Sure, the cost of the HD in the 2620 might take a little of that
difference into account (you yourself sell a 2Gb CF for $165), but
there`s no excuse for restricting the use of maps to that device only, or
failing to provide the maps on CD.

...I think you might have just managed to spur me into action to write to
Garmin over this - your comments are particularly relevant as a dealer.
