I'm doing some experiments with a Leadtek 9520 SiRF-1 based OEM GPS
receiver module.

After upgrading firmware to 1.3.4, the unit comes up after a cold start
in SiRF binary mode at 19.2kbps. I can set it to NMEA 4k8 but after a
cold start it is back again at 19k2 SiRF binary.

I'd like to set the cold start defaults. Have found a utility for
ublox SiRF-based receiver to do this, that modifies the code sent to
the GPS receiver.

Is such a program also available for Leadtek 9520 SiRF-1 based module?
