Thanks for your reply, Sam.
I do have Sirfdemo, but unless i miss something, it does not let me
change the cold boot mode of the receiver. It will let me change mode,
but only until the next cold start (start 'blank' without backup power).
I also have sirfprog and files (motorola s-records) to program the
module's flash chip. But in order to change the cold boot defaults
you need to change some magic bytes in the code that is going to be
downloaded to flash. Or that is how i see it at the moment.
Now i'd love to have the module cold boot in NMEA mode....
