I don't know if you can provide the almanach externally, in any case, i
doubt it is useful.

You could recude the cold-start time (because it is produced when you
don't have the alamach) but it is valid for months, so it is done very
rarely.

Warm start could be reduced a little but only if you provide a very
up-to-date almanach (of less than two hours more or less). If not, it is
useless and the GPS has to receive it.

In any case, the GPS does a great job receiving constantly the alamach
from the satellites and it is best not to interfiere with that.
