I take you don't live where the seasons are winter and road construction.
The amount of taxpayer money going down the toilet to rebuild the same
roads frequently sure isn't any kind of benefit to regular people. Unless
your pastime is sitting in traffic jams or you're in the road
construction business. Wear and tear on the roads is a very significant
issue when a lot of truck traffic and weather combine.
