My solution is to use a program like g7towin which allows you to sort by
field. This way I can sort waypoints in a particular area and delete the
rest. I then upload the waypoints I need back to my etrex.
I have also used excel to sort waypoints but you then need to use a program
that imports/exports from/to excel to get the waypoints in and out of your
etrex.
Someone may have an easier way but hope this helps.
