routing algorhythms

Lurked in this newsgroup for a long time and have learned a lot.

Working on a project at work to determine the best course from different
locations to a common point. We are looking at redrawing fire and ems
response territories if stations get moved.

I tried searching for ways to do this via some automation rather than
map things out by hand. The county engineer's office can provide
lat/lon of major intersections. Given that, I'd think a decent routing
package could determine which station is the best choice.

Google, so far, has not been a friend.

Thanks in advance
