You are absolutely 100% correct. Any company that would monitor an employees
location after work deserves to be punished in a very severe manner.
Corporate fines and personal fines against the individuals doing such
monitoring would be a good place to start. For the guilty individuals, the
threat of jail time would be a nice touch. The corporate veil should not be
used to protect individuals that would intentionally monitor an employees
location after "work hours". To me, that is a gross invasion of privacy.

I would like to see legislation prohibiting "tracking" after work hours for
the good of the national workforce as a whole.
