I'm planning to get a GPS receiver for use while on vacation skiing around
the Vermont area, driving and hill walking in the greater New England. I
will also be using it back home in Ireland for hill walking locally and some
dingy sailing. I've narrowed my choice down to the two units above. Overall
a general mixed bag planned.
I'm wondering what users think of both what their preferences would be.
Issues like
having the screen above or below the buttons,
the rugged or sleek finish,
and any performance differences - which is best -a helix or patch antenna.
Also, does the AC adapter work on 110volts only or will ir work on 230
volts.
Any other comments or observations are much appreciated.
