The LOOX-720, a WM 2003 PDA, has two USB connectors - the usual for
sync to a computer and also a host USB connector. This therefore has
the hardware to replace a Windows PC for connecting with the newer USB
only GPSrs. (Why I bought it!)

Yes, correct.

Yes I can get the track using a laptop and CN. But although others
here have asked Garmin already, you can't save the track to the
GPSr's CF.

I don't want to look at tracks on the LOOX Jack as it's screen is too
small. I only want to download the track for later transfer to CN on
a laptop.
With my older GPS-75 and eMap I could use NMEA and serial to connect
with a Psion hand held computer and quickly download from the GPSr
it's track. My laptop is 12 x the volume of my laptop which is still
booting after my Psion has finished downloading a track! Quick and
easy. I would like to do the same with a 2610 and LOOX-720.
Thanks Jack for your comments.
