In the Internet you will find tools to convert a route generated by
Metroguide to a route with the intermediate points, so you can upload it
again to the Garmin and perform the route perfectly.
This work even if your GPS doesn't have memory for maps, you will see
just the route.
I think that the name was RouteTool, or TrackTool. I found it time ago
in a Yahoo group.
There is also a software that allows you to upload Metroguide maps to
the GPS without stripping the autorouting information (Metroguide maps
HAVE autorouting information, but it is removed before uploading). The
name is sendmap20, a little hard to use but it works! The drawback is
that you lose the "Search Address" feature, as the indexes for the maps
are not created.
