Last week I broke my MAP330 vehicle mount, so I found them for sale at
and ordered one. I placed the order on the web at about 8:45 AM EST.
Upon receiving the emailed receipt, I realized that I ordered the
MAP310 mount, which does not accomodate the 330. Immediately, I called
Nightowl, whose hours begin at 9:00 AM PST, and left a message to call
me.
Just after 12:00 PM EST Thursday, Garret (the owner) returned my call,
and I explained the situation. Garret advised me that the order had
already been processed, and suggested that I should have emailed rather
than phoning. Regardless, Garret said he'd try to catch the order
before it shipped.
Last Friday at noon, a package arrived from Nightowl containing the
correct MAP330 mount. It arrived in 24 hours, even though I requested
standard shipping.
How's that for customer service?
