Explorist 100 or Etrex?

Can I get views of which is better for entry level handheld gps for fell
walking in UK - the Explorist 100 or the basic Etrex?
My priorities are (1) it locks/aquires succesfully (2) battery life, (3)
works at low temp (winter wild camping), (4) weight, (5) hooks up to PC.
Looking at the specs, the Explorist looks better (and cheaper) but I can't
see any UK user reviews on it.
Any views?
