I am trying to get TopoUSA 4 to talk to me new Garmin Vista using the
Garmin serial cable.
I can see data streaming from the Vista using HyperTerminal when the
Vista is set to NMEA In/NMEA Out. TopoUSA also seems to see the Vista
when I start the GPS tracking.
So far I can't get data from TopoUSA to the Vista or from the Vista
into TopoUSA.
The Vista is set to WGS84 datum and the Serial Data Format is set to
Garmin. The serial port settings are 4800,N,8,1.
The Garmin and DeLorme web sites haven't been helpful.
Anyone have experience with either of these items that can provide some
advice?
Thanks,
Don
