SanDisk & Lexar are both highly reliable; the big CF cards they make
are mostly for pro photographers. They demand real speed & reliability
far beyond what GPS users require.
Go for non-HD cards, they're the thin Type-I cards. Don't worry about
WA, 40x or 80x cards - it won't matter to the GPS.
Let the device format the card. If you want a computer to do it, don't
use FAT32 (unless you have to). Voltage is, I believe, a non-issue
these days.
