If you would examine the facts, in countries where weapons have been banned
or overly restricted the citizens are less safe. England and Australia both
have seen increases in crime AFTER they banned gun ownership. Canada just
had 4 RCMP officers mudered this last week AFTER they had a massive gun buy
back program. What you seem to fail to understand is that gun laws are
generally disregarded by criminals and therefore do not have the impact
promised by the politicians. Plus if you think your government is incapable
of running amuck against its own citizens you should research Ruby Ridge and
Waco, TX. Perfect, recent examples of the US Government murdering US
citizens with absolutely no consequences for anyone involved. Please tell me
what it is about "law abiding" citizens owning guns that worries you so
much?
