right - but there is no place on earth without vector map. It's only a
question of details.

As many told you - a mapping unit is better (and more expensive) than a
non mapping unit. The PDA units are perfect in a car but not for outdoor
use.

No unit can say any word without an autorouting vector map.
Without maps you just can follow a track line by looking on the screen.
