Link it up to Mapsource, then click the symbol with the arrow showing
"transfer from Garmin", highlight the maps you want to transfer, then
transfer them back to your PC.

Sorry to hear you "hate" the best handheld GPS in the world. Have a feeling
you're frustrated because of the difficulty in mastering a new complex
device. You should have had the weekend I've just had trying to get to grips
with a new mobile phone. The manual is written by the original Chinese maker
in his own version of English. It's still a superb instrument though, and I
WILL master it yet!

Give it a bit more time, son.
