Yes - that was my other thought. Can't say I'd bother replacing my Summit with a newer model though.Replacing it with a new Summit wouldn't gain you anything.
Presumably it would get you WAAS, a better tracklog, and any other improvements that are in the 3.xx hardware/firmware but not in the 2.xx models. But I agree I wouldn't change units just for that.
