You can check how much memory the maps you have currently selected will use in MapSource (for all the maps you are using). On the left pane the list of selected map tiles appears along with the total size they occupy.
I don't know what the differences are between City Select and Metroguide. I only own City Select. From what I've read apparently Metroguide does support autorouting but not with the 60CS. I think you can still do autorouting in MapSource.
I'm not sure about this last part.
