Brilliant!
The first method works exactly as described. I used a point
object[Region name (no point, big) (0x1400, point)] on level 1, all
footpaths on level 0 and now the paths only appear as they should.
The non-transparent method didn't work for me when combined with a
European Metroguide V6 map, but I am more than happy with the first
method.
