The 2610 is reputedly more reliable.
The 2620 actually offers LESS as it doesn`t include the software as part
of the package to allow you to install it to a PC, and it doesn`t come
with a second "free" unlock to allow you to use the maps on another
Garmin unit.
CF is compact flash (a very common and robust type of plug-in memory)
Buy a big enough memory card, and i`m sure it`ll load the entire US no
problem.
Hopefully i`m accurate in this, but if not, one of the Garmin resellers
will be along shortly to put me right :-)
