[OT] online maps of England

I recently spoke with elderly gentleman who spent time in England in late 50's / early 60's.

He mentioned Sharpen Hoe, Barton-On-Clay, and Laken Heath.
I currently have a friend living in metro London.

Any suggestions for a WEB available map so I can determine any possible correlation?

Am I asking "right question"?
