That would have been a good answer except given the current low price
of 2GB cards, I am surprised you do not have one dedicated to use in
your 2610. Maybe if you only travelled occasionally to/from Europe
but even then what's GBP100 compared to a return air fair?

I am actually now using smaller (256MB) cards as low value currency
to swap for other cheap bits of computer kit, as they are excess to my
requirements.
