Re: Streets & Trips - no USB GPS support help

Hi Daniel,
>From Microsoft: This is the error msg: (and MS knowledge base
article
#894511). No gps receiver is detected. Make sure that the gps is
plugged
into the communication (COM) port on your computer and no other
program
is using it...

If you could show me how to get S&T to recognize my GPS connected
to the
laptop via USB, I'd be grateful.

What is a "cf gps"? (Oh, maybe Compact Flash?... how much would
THAT
cost?).

If the ($15-20) software has the functioanlity I need, why
wouldn't I
want to get it to work? What difference does the price make? Is
there
an alternative moving map software you would recommend (that
recognizes
GPS via USB, etc.)?

Thanks!
Pink
