Need help with GPS

Hello All,

I am new to GPS and been reading up but with my limited knowledge I am
having a hard time picking one.

I need a UPS for driving and hiking. I do both a ton.

For hiking I need to place waypoints so I can go back and for driving
same thing.

I also waht a way to see elevation, compass, etc...

Be able to laod maps, etc...

I go off road a lot but also drive across country and soemtimes I nee
dto mark my place to go back.

I was lookgin at teh Garmin 60C any thoughts? Good , bad?
Then also was looking at the Meridian...

I need to be able to DL topos as well.
