I have used both extensively. I agree the Delorme interface is
difficult to use. But if you can figure out how to use it Delorme has
more functionality and up to date data then National Geographic.
Delorme roads and trails are more up to date. The Routing feature on
Delorme can be used with a combination of roads and trails. Delorme is
in the maping business...
