I thought a Bluetooth "piconet" allowed duplex communication amongst multiple devices.
There is piconet but it cannot be used for serial communication any more that a serial port on a pc can be connected to a network directly. Bluetooth supports many different modes but you have to use the mode that the GPS supports to make a connection.
I don't know much about Bluetooth, I only use it to connect one device at a time (PDA and cell phone) to my PC.
