What he's saying is that Garmin licenses the map data from NavTeq,
they don't actually create it, or digitize it from paper maps or
by hand from address lists. They take it as-is and simply convert
it to their map format.

This is such a sore point with you. There are barely 20 or so of
these in the entire database.

I think you'd get a better response from Garmin (and NavTeq) if
your reports were more specific. For example, pick a city that has
poor hospital coverage, and list the missing ones. Then say that
you've seen similar problems in cities X, Y and Z. It at least
gives them a starting point to work with. Vague, broad statements
like this:

> In short, we think that it would be much more useful
> to most travellers and users of your maps if you had better
> coverage of hospitals and gas stations and public camp grounds

are so general that it's hard to know where to start. Think about the
person on the receiving end of your message who is going to investigate
your problem report. What city do they start with? What POI's should
they check? How will they know if something is missing if they don't
know what POI to look for?

Just a little bit of detail will go a long way towards getting things
done.
