Hooray! I'm so glad that someone finally did some actual research
into the issue. "City" Select should have been a big clue, but then
clueless folks like z1307z@xxxxxxxxx will never understand that. And
you made an informed choice based on that information. It's not meant
to be a topo map; or to find fishing spots, smoky the bear
campgrounds, bicycle rental shops, horse stables, archery ranges,
doggie hotels, etc. If I wanted something more specialized, I'd get
that. As you mentioned, the DeLorme maps were an option for you. I
use City Select to navigate on roads and get points of interest
related to that. And yes, to actually find points of interest in
cities! I'm happy with it! My biggest complaint is that it doesn't
seem to have all the White Castles in it. And who knows, with people
like z1307z@xxxxxxxxx running around, I'll probably need to find an
Alcoholics center.
