The Garmin GPS 10 will transmit data via Bluetooth. Many WiFi equipped
laptops also have Bluetooth... if not... it's a cheap option to add.
I have a GPS 10 and it drives nRoute (free from Garmin) on the Laptop.
Battery claims to operate for 10 hours per charge but never tested it
that far. Surely a supplemental battery pack could be found to drive
it via the charge pin.
