GPS V - battery save mode

Hi all,

I have been enjoying my GPS V for the past few months. I have only
one question. I notice in battery save mode the unit frequently tells
me that it has lost satellite coverage, even though the the satellite
screen shows me that it still have fine coverage.

Is this normal behavior?
