Garmin 2720 Question

I just upgraded my 2620 to the new 2720. So far I'm quite impressed
with this unit but I do have a question.

How do I save my current location so that I can come back to it later?
(Not talking about the Home feature here)

I noticed that if I'm looking at the map and hit the toggle button on
the remote control I can save my current position. The question is how
do I do that without using the remote control? I've read the manual
front to back and didn't see it. I only saw the topic "Saving a place
I found".
