I am not surprised you got negative response in these two newsgroup
which have been dominated by gps users who want only dedicated
single-purpose, shockproof and waterproof (IEC 60529 IPX7 standards can
be submerged in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes)gps unit.
Cellular phone , no way.
Mp3 players , no way.
Browser, no way too
They just do not see writing on the wall. Garmin knows what is
happening and quietly joining (can't fight it anyway).
