I've been taken to a gated road on occasion, had little hiccups on others...
I only notice the hiccups when my wife is in the car with me <g>.. I just
deal with the limitations of the tool when I'm by myself and take it all in
stride.
It's in the nature of the media to accentuate the spectacular, so getting it
to make a mistake ONCE would be enough to get such a spin put on the product
in my experience...
I expect that if you were in the car beside her, you would have found that
her "adventure" was normal and could be avoided with some common sense while
taking the directions.. you likely avoid such things yourself every day
without thinking about it..
