Those of us who saw Galileo as a total waste of time and money when it was
first rumoured that a third system was being considered, foresaw much of
this happening. Europe is not a "nation", like the US, and such projects
will always be subject to the bickering which accompanies all major funding
within the Member States.
How much are the "new" Member States being asked to contribute? Sweet FA,
since they are takers, not givers. But they will be the first to complain
when Galileo bites the dust.
