But we are not talking about piracy here, just a purchaser who finds that
the license management process for the software makes it very difficult to
use in what are reasonable circumstances. Also the software is not
funtioning as described, an all to often problem even with those that
perhaps aught to know better. All to often we are expected to shell out for
the next version of software to get rid of the bugs that riddled the
previous version only to be assaulted by a new set of bugs as a result of
the 'improvements' or added funtionality that we never needed in the first
place.

But as been said before the user was complying with the basic licensing
requirements.

There are equal arguments that many of the piracy problems that the big
names suffer from are in fact driven by their over onerous licensing
techniques, and the charging of commercial licence rates to leisure users.
