You may want to try reinstalling your the Marine POI data that was
originally on the GPS. You can get it here:
http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=579

After that, Garmin has a free download utility to save POIs downloaded
from a GPS. http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=927.

Hopefully this will give you a POI file that you can later upload back
to the GPS along with highway maps.

As mentioned many times in earlier posts, be wary of using City
Navigator for road maps because of the large file sizes and limited
storage in a Vista C. Get City Select, which has been discontinued but
is still available from online retailers.

I hope this helps and that this solution works for you. If it isn't
viable I sure that someone will jump in and rebuke it.
