I agree that different recievers use power differently. You know I think that in the years to come new designs will HAVE to include WAAS as a primary consideration because the public is becoming more knowledgeable about all this and the only way to get the accuracy they are going to hear and read about will be thru WAAS. What I've seen in 36 is a new level of usable signal. This is just being discovered by use here in this forum. You can be sure that in the days ahead once the media and electronic companies find out how good WAAS is getting with these new sats coming online they will expect the new accuracy starting today. I like 36 and I'm wondering where 35 will end up. I think even though they are moving it west it still may be low on the horizon. Here in San Diego 36 sits on the first ring of my 76S sat display and that makes it a FULL strength sat. Maybe 35 might be that strong once its moved but I'm not sure about it's elevation after the move.
